Akpabio wins as court of request orders rerun in his senatorial region

Pastor of Niger Delta Affairs Godswill Akpabio has verified a success at the court of request which sat in Cross River State’s capital Calabar, as the court requested a rerun political decision in Akwa Ibom north-west senatorial locale he challenged in on the foundation of the All Progressives Congress (APC) with Senator Chris Ekpeyong of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Akapbio documented an appeal at the National Assembly Election Tribunal following the affirmation of Ekpeyong, a previous appointee legislative head of Akwa Ibom State as victor of the political race.

Anyway after the request was struck out by the council on grounds of lacking legitimacy, the pastor made a beeline for the redrafting court. The court of request in its decision on Saturday November 9, requested the Independent and National Electoral Commission to lead a rerun political race in the senatorial locale inside 90 days.
